I admit that I seem to have lost the drive -yet again. But thanks to GMANews article about Manix Abrera, creator of KikoMachine Komix, the urge caught light once more. I remember how the idea woke me up at 2AM just to get this strip in the middle of the day's conversation.
Loosely based on an experience back in college, when defense comes as often as newspaper, it depicts the typical "just another day at the boarding house", but with a disgusting twist.

My first time to use watercolor paper, and i can tell you, it is the best. i didn't know before that the quality or the effect of the watercolor greatly depends on what type paper you use. i've only used sketchpad prior to this work and i am very happy to find out that i could actually produce the effect i've always wanted, notwithstanding that i have a lot of room for improvement. i am pretty excited for the future.
